Dr Pepper BBQ Sauce (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Sauce Base

01 - 1 cup Dr. Pepper
02 - 1 cup ketchup
03 - 1/2 cup brown sugar
04 - 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
05 - 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
06 - 1 tablespoon soy sauce
07 - 1 tablespoon garlic powder
08 - 1 tablespoon onion powder
09 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
10 - Salt to taste
11 - Black pepper to taste

# Instructions:

01 - In a medium saucepan, add Dr. Pepper, ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
02 - Place the saucepan over medium heat and stir frequently until the mixture reaches a boil.
03 - Reduce heat to low and let the mixture simmer for 20 to 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens to the desired consistency.
04 - Taste and adjust salt and black pepper as needed.
05 - Remove from heat and allow the sauce to cool before transferring to an airtight container. Refrigerate for up to one week.

01 - For added heat, incorporate a pinch of cayenne pepper or a dash of hot sauce.
02 - Adjust brown sugar or vinegar levels to influence sweetness and tanginess.
03 - Serve this sauce with grilled meats or use as a flavorful dip.
