Biscuits and Sausage Gravy Pizza (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Sausage Gravy

01 - 1 package (16 oz) breakfast sausage
02 - 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
03 - 2 cups whole milk, divided
04 - Ground black pepper, to taste

→ Pizza Base & Toppings

05 - 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)
06 - 1 pre-baked 12-inch pizza crust
07 - Cooking spray
08 - 6 large eggs
09 - 1/4 cup whole milk (for eggs)
10 - 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
11 - Crispy fried onions, for topping

# Instructions:

01 - In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage, breaking it up with a spatula until fully browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain off excess grease if needed. Sprinkle in the flour, stirring to coat the sausage. Slowly add 2 cups of milk while stirring continuously. Cook, stirring often, until the gravy thickens, about 10 minutes. Season with ground black pepper and set aside.
02 - Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the pre-baked pizza crust on a baking sheet. If desired, brush the crust with olive oil for extra flavor. Evenly spread half of the prepared sausage gravy over the crust.
03 - In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs and 1/4 cup milk. Spray a large skillet with cooking spray and heat over medium-high. Pour in the egg mixture and cook, stirring gently, until eggs are just set but still soft, about 5 minutes.
04 - Spread the scrambled eggs evenly over the sausage gravy layer. Top with shredded Cheddar cheese.
05 - Bake the assembled pizza in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
06 - Remove from the oven and sprinkle crispy fried onions over the top. Slice and serve warm.

# Notes:

01 - Enhance flavor with extra toppings such as chives, crumbled bacon, or a dash of hot sauce. Ideal for brunch gatherings or hearty breakfast meals.
