Filipino Adobo Chicken Dish (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 6 chicken thighs, bone-in, skin-on
02 - 1/2 cup soy sauce
03 - 1/2 cup white vinegar
04 - 4 cloves garlic, crushed
05 - 1 tablespoon black peppercorns
06 - 4 bay leaves

# Instructions:

01 - Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl. Marinate the chicken in the mixture for 4 hours.
02 - Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the chicken skin-side down in a large Dutch oven with the marinade. Cover and bake for 30 minutes.
03 - Uncover the Dutch oven. Turn the chicken over and coat with the sauce. Bake uncovered for an additional 30 minutes until the chicken is browned and the sauce is reduced.

01 - Allow the chicken to marinate for at least 4 hours to enhance flavor.
