Cook lasagna noodles in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, melt 1/2 cup butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1–2 minutes. Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 2–3 minutes per side. Transfer cooked shrimp to a plate and reserve.

In the same skillet, melt 1/2 cup butter. Add minced garlic and cook until aromatic, around 1–2 minutes.

Add all-purpose flour and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly, until well incorporated.

Gradually whisk in milk, ensuring the mixture stays smooth. Cook, stirring continuously, until the sauce thickens. Remove from heat and stir in grated Parmesan until fully melted. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Spread a thin layer of garlic butter sauce in the bottom of a large baking dish. Add a layer of lasagna noodles, followed by another layer of sauce, cooked shrimp, and a sprinkle of mozzarella. Repeat these layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with sauce and mozzarella on top.

Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbling.

Remove from the oven and allow to cool for several minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
