Peel, pit, and chop the mango if using fresh, or measure out 1 cup of frozen mango chunks.

Combine mango pieces with 1/2 cup of almond milk in a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy to form the mango puree.

In a small bowl, whisk matcha powder with 2–3 tablespoons of water until completely dissolved and no clumps remain. Use a frother for a smoother result, if preferred.

Spoon the mango puree into the bottom of a tall glass. Add ice cubes until the glass is half full. Pour in the remaining 1/2 cup almond milk.

Gently pour the whisked matcha over the almond milk for a layered look. Drizzle honey or maple syrup on top if a sweeter flavor is desired.
