# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 450 g beef brisket
02 - 120 ml pure maple syrup
03 - 8 slices bread
04 - 2 cups (200 g) shredded cheddar cheese
05 - 4 waffles
06 - Butter, as needed

# Instructions:

01 - Place brisket in a slow cooker and pour pure maple syrup over the meat. Cook on low heat for 8 hours, or until brisket is tender and easily shreds.
02 - Remove brisket from the slow cooker and shred using two forks. Set aside.
03 - Heat a skillet over medium heat. Butter one side of each bread slice.
04 - Place one slice of bread, buttered side down, on the skillet. Top with a portion of shredded cheddar cheese, followed by shredded brisket. Cover with another slice of bread, buttered side up.
05 - Cook the sandwich until golden brown on both sides and the cheese is melted, flipping once halfway through.
06 - Repeat the assembly and grilling process with remaining ingredients to create four sandwiches in total.
07 - Warm the waffles according to package instructions or toast to preference.
08 - Assemble each wafflewich by sandwiching a grilled cheese brisket sandwich between two waffles.
09 - Serve wafflewiches hot to enjoy optimal flavor and texture.

# Notes:

01 - To achieve optimal texture, allow the brisket to rest for several minutes before shredding so juices redistribute.
