# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
02 - 1 cup granulated sugar
03 - 1 large egg
04 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
05 - 2 cups all-purpose flour
06 - 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
07 - 1/4 teaspoon salt

→ Topping

08 - 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
09 - 1 cup caramel sauce
10 - 1 teaspoon sea salt flakes

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
03 - Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until fully incorporated.
04 - In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
05 - Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Press the dough evenly into the prepared baking dish.
06 - Scatter the chocolate chips over the dough, pressing them gently into the surface.
07 - Drizzle the caramel sauce evenly over the chocolate chips.
08 - Sprinkle the sea salt flakes over the top.
09 - Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set. Let the bars cool completely in the pan before slicing into squares.
