Strawberry Oat Smoothie Sticks (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped
02 - 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt, unsweetened and free from xylitol
03 - 3/4 cup rolled oats

→ Optional Ingredients

04 - 1 tablespoon flaxseed meal
05 - 1 teaspoon honey
06 - Splash of water or unsweetened coconut water, as needed

# Instructions:

01 - Combine chopped strawberries in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth, adding a splash of water or coconut water if needed.
02 - Add plain Greek yogurt and optional honey to the blender. Blend until the mixture is creamy and well combined.
03 - Introduce rolled oats and optional flaxseed meal into the mixture. Pulse briefly until a soft, textured dough forms.
04 - If the dough is too soft, refrigerate for 20–30 minutes to firm up for easier shaping.
05 - Form dough into 1/2-inch thick sticks by hand or use silicone molds for uniform results.
06 - Arrange the shaped sticks on a parchment-lined tray and place in the freezer for at least 3 hours until firm.
07 - Transfer frozen sticks to a freezer-safe container or bag. Serve chilled as needed.

# Notes:

01 - Frozen strawberries may be used; thaw slightly before blending for smoother consistency.
02 - Substitute strawberries with blueberries, banana, or pumpkin to offer flavor variety.
03 - For dairy-sensitive dogs, unsweetened coconut yogurt may replace Greek yogurt.
04 - Allow frozen sticks to rest at room temperature for 5–10 minutes before serving senior dogs.
05 - Prepare a larger batch and freeze up to one month for convenience.
