Strawberry Sorbet Favorite Treat (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup granulated sugar
02 - 3 cups water
03 - 5 cups fresh or frozen strawberries, cleaned and quartered (about 2 pounds)
04 - 2 tablespoons lemon juice or lime juice

# Instructions:

01 - Rinse strawberries thoroughly and quarter them. Set aside.
02 - In a medium saucepan, bring water and sugar just to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool.
03 - In a large bowl, combine the prepared syrup, lemon juice, and strawberries.
04 - Transfer, in small batches if needed, to a blender or food processor and process until completely smooth.
05 - Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container and freeze overnight or for a minimum of 6 hours.
06 - Store leftovers in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.

# Notes:

01 - Use a blender or food processor for the smoothest results.
02 - An ice cream container is ideal for freezing the sorbet.
