Cinnamon Apple Dippers (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the Apple Wedges

01 - 4 large apples (Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, or Fuji)
02 - 2 tbsp melted butter
03 - 1/4 cup (50g) granulated sugar
04 - 1 tbsp ground cinnamon

→ For the Caramel Whipped Cream

05 - 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream, cold
06 - 1/4 cup (60ml) caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
07 - 2 tbsp powdered sugar
08 - 1 tsp vanilla extract

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
02 - Core and slice the apples into 1/2-inch thick wedges. In a large bowl, toss the apple wedges with melted butter until evenly coated. In a separate bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon together. Add the cinnamon-sugar mixture to the apples, tossing until the wedges are evenly coated.
03 - Arrange the apple wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket (cook in batches if necessary). Air fry for 8-10 minutes, shaking halfway through, until the apples are tender and the coating is golden.
04 - In a mixing bowl, combine the cold heavy cream, caramel sauce, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Whip the mixture with an electric mixer until soft peaks form.
05 - Serve the warm apple wedges with a side of caramel whipped cream for dipping.

# Notes:

01 - Add flavor: Drizzle a little more caramel sauce over the apple wedges before serving.
02 - Make it vegan: Use plant-based butter and coconut whipped cream.
03 - Storage: Best enjoyed fresh, but you can refrigerate leftovers for up to 2 days.
