Add barbecue sauce and tomato sauce to skillet. Bring to boil, then reduce to simmer for 5 minutes.

In large bowl, whisk together cornmeal, milk, flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, egg, and melted butter.

Layer chicken mixture in baking dish, then shredded cheese, and top with cornbread mixture.
