BLT Pasta Summer Side (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Pasta Salad

01 - 1 box (16 ounces) rotini pasta, cooked, drained, and rinsed with cold water
02 - 13 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
03 - ½ large red onion, finely diced
04 - 1½ cups cheddar cheese, cubed
05 - 2 cups romaine lettuce, torn into bite-sized pieces
06 - 1 avocado, cut into small pieces
07 - 1½ cups cherry tomatoes, halved
08 - ¼ cup parsley, chopped

→ Dressing

09 - 1 packet (1 ounce) Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing Mix, dry
10 - 1½ cups mayonnaise
11 - ½ cup sour cream

# Instructions:

01 - In a medium bowl, whisk together the dry Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing Mix, mayonnaise, and sour cream. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes to develop flavor.
02 - Cook rotini pasta according to package instructions. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop cooking and cool the pasta. Drain again and transfer to a large mixing bowl.
03 - Add the cooked and chopped bacon, diced red onion, cubed cheddar cheese, avocado pieces, halved cherry tomatoes, chopped parsley, and torn romaine lettuce to the bowl with pasta.
04 - Pour the chilled dressing over the salad ingredients. Gently toss with tongs until everything is evenly coated.
05 - Serve the salad immediately as a refreshing summer side dish.

01 - For best flavor, chill the dressing before mixing into the salad.
