Elegant Blue Cheese Stuffed Pears (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Pears

01 - 4 ripe pears, halved and cored

→ Cheese Filling

02 - 4.25 ounces blue cheese, crumbled
03 - 1 ounce walnuts, chopped and toasted
04 - 1 tablespoon honey, plus extra for drizzling

→ Seasoning and Garnish

05 - 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
06 - 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
07 - Fresh thyme sprigs, for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
02 - Slice pears in half lengthwise and remove cores with a melon baller or spoon. Place pear halves cut side up on the prepared baking sheet.
03 - In a mixing bowl, combine crumbled blue cheese, toasted chopped walnuts, and 1 tablespoon honey. Mix until fully blended.
04 - Spoon the cheese mixture into the center of each pear half, pressing gently to pack the filling.
05 - Drizzle balsamic vinegar over the stuffed pears and sprinkle with ground black pepper. Bake for 20–25 minutes until pears are tender and cheese is bubbling.
06 - Remove from the oven. Drizzle pears with additional honey and garnish each half with fresh thyme sprigs. Serve warm.

# Notes:

01 - For optimal texture, choose pears that are ripe but still firm to the touch. A few crumbles of goat cheese can enhance the depth of the filling. Delicious served either warm or chilled.
