Broccoli Rice Chicken Cheese (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Protein

01 - 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced

→ Grains

02 - 2 cups cooked white rice

→ Vegetables

03 - 2 cups broccoli florets, fresh or frozen

→ Dairy and Sauces

04 - 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
05 - 1 cup sour cream
06 - 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided

→ Seasonings

07 - ½ teaspoon garlic powder
08 - ½ teaspoon onion powder
09 - Salt, to taste
10 - Black pepper, to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Set the oven to 350°F (175°C) to warm up while preparing the mixture.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, thoroughly blend the cooked chicken, rice, broccoli, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, one cup of shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
03 - Grease an ovenproof casserole dish and evenly spread the combined mixture inside.
04 - Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top of the casserole.
05 - Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until hot, bubbly, and lightly golden at the edges.
06 - Remove from the oven and allow it to rest for 5 minutes before serving to let flavors meld and temperature settle.

01 - Using fresh broccoli will yield a firmer texture, while frozen broccoli contributes a softer bite.
