Cadbury Cookies with Frosting (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Cookie

01 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
02 - 1/2 cup sugar
03 - 1 egg
04 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
05 - 1 1/2 cups flour
06 - 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
07 - 1/4 teaspoon salt

→ Chocolate Frosting

08 - 1 tablespoon unsalted sweet cream butter
09 - 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
10 - 1 cup powdered sugar
11 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
12 - 2 - 3 tablespoons hot water
13 - 24 mini Cadbury eggs

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
02 - In a standing mixer, beat together butter and sugar until creamy. Mix in egg and vanilla extract.
03 - In a medium bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, and salt.
04 - Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until dough forms.
05 - Using a small ice cream scoop, scoop out dough, roll into small balls, and place onto the cookie sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes.
06 - Remove cookies from the oven and quickly press thumb into the top of each cookie. Transfer cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.
07 - In a small mixing bowl, melt butter in the microwave. Mix in cocoa, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and hot water until smooth and creamy.
08 - Spoon chocolate frosting into each thumbprint and top with a mini Cadbury egg.
