Tender beef slices stir-fried with sweet onions, ginger, and garlic in a savory Cantonese style.

# Ingredients:

Beef

01 - 1.1 lb beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced

Vegetables

02 - 2 large onions, sliced into wedges
03 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
04 - 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
05 - 2 green onions, chopped

Sauces and Oils

06 - 3 tablespoons soy sauce
07 - 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
08 - 1 teaspoon dark soy sauce
09 - 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
10 - 1 teaspoon sesame oil

Other

11 - 1 teaspoon sugar
12 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
13 - 1 tablespoon cornstarch
14 - 2 tablespoons water

# Instructions:

01 - In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, and water. Mix thoroughly and let it marinate for 10 minutes.
02 - Heat vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry quickly for 2 to 3 minutes until just browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
03 - In the same wok, add minced garlic and grated ginger. Stir-fry for approximately 30 seconds until aromatic.
04 - Add sliced onions to the wok and cook for 3 to 4 minutes until they are slightly softened but retain a crisp texture.
05 - Return the beef to the wok and add oyster sauce, dark soy sauce, sugar, and black pepper. Stir well to ensure the beef and onions are evenly coated.
06 - Continue cooking for an additional 2 to 3 minutes until the sauce thickens and develops a glossy finish.
07 - Drizzle sesame oil over the stir-fry, garnish with chopped green onions, and serve immediately with steamed rice.

# Notes:

01 - For the best texture, use high heat and avoid overcooking the beef to retain tenderness.
