Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.

In a large bowl, mix shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, thyme, and milk. Pour into the prepared dish.

In another bowl, mix melted butter and stuffing mix until well coated. Spread over the chicken mixture.

Sprinkle fried onions evenly on top.

Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
