Cheesy Ground Beef Rice (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 lb lean ground beef

02 - 3 cups cooked white rice

03 - 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
04 - 1/2 cup milk

→ Canned Goods

05 - 1 can (10.75 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup

→ Condiments & Spices

06 - 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
07 - 1 tsp garlic powder
08 - 1 tsp onion powder
09 - Salt and black pepper to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
02 - In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef, breaking it apart with a spoon until no pink remains. Drain excess fat.
03 - In a large bowl, mix the cooked ground beef, cooked rice, condensed cream of mushroom soup, milk, 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until fully incorporated.
04 - Spread the mixture evenly into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
05 - Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
06 - Bake for 25 minutes, until cheese is melted, golden brown, and the dish is bubbling.
07 - Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving to let it set.

# Notes:

01 - Use lean ground beef to reduce grease. Cooking rice ahead speeds preparation. Sharp cheddar enhances flavor. Can be assembled in advance and refrigerated before baking.
