Cheesy Tater Tot Pizza (Print Version)

Crispy tater tots topped with Italian sausage, pepperoni, sauce, and bubbly mozzarella cheese.

# Ingredients:

Potatoes

01 - 1 bag frozen tater tots (approximately 510g)

Meat

02 - 1 pound (450g) mild Italian sausage

Sauces

03 - 1 jar (680g) pizza sauce

Cheese

04 - 2 cups (200g) shredded mozzarella cheese

Toppings

05 - 1 package (approx. 150g) sliced pepperoni
06 - Italian seasoning, optional, to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Set oven to 400°F (204°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
02 - Brown the Italian sausage in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
03 - Place frozen tater tots evenly along the edges and bottom of the prepared baking dish.
04 - Spoon pizza sauce evenly over the tater tots, then distribute cooked sausage and pepperoni slices on top.
05 - Cover the entire dish generously with shredded mozzarella cheese. Add extra pepperoni on top and sprinkle with Italian seasoning if desired.
06 - Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until tater tots are crispy and cheese is melted, bubbly, and lightly golden.
07 - Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

# Notes:

01 - For extra crispness, avoid covering the dish during baking.
