Cherry Ice Cream Pie (Print Version)

Frozen cherry cream filling meets chocolate crust, whipped cream, and hot fudge for a luscious dessert.

# Ingredients:

Filling

01 - 2 cups cold heavy whipping cream
02 - 1 can (20 ounces) cherry pie filling
03 - 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
04 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Crust

05 - 2 Oreo pie crusts (homemade or store-bought)

Toppings

06 - Hot fudge topping
07 - Whipped cream
08 - Fresh cherries for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - Using a stand mixer fitted with a whisk attachment, beat the cold heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
02 - In a medium bowl, slightly crush the cherry pie filling with a potato masher. Add sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract, stirring until combined.
03 - Gently fold the cherry mixture into the whipped cream until evenly combined.
04 - Divide the filling evenly between the two Oreo pie crusts. Cover each tightly with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 4 hours.
05 - Before serving, drizzle with hot fudge topping, then garnish with whipped cream and fresh cherries.

# Notes:

01 - This recipe yields two pies. Leftover filling can be frozen separately to create cherry ice cream. Use any pie crust variation or swap the cherry filling for other flavors.
02 - Substitute 2 containers (8 ounces each) of Cool Whip for heavy whipping cream if desired.
