Chipped Beef Cheese Ball (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dairy

01 - 227 g cream cheese

→ Meat

02 - 85 g dried beef

→ Vegetables

03 - 2 chopped green onions, plus additional for garnish

→ Condiments and Seasonings

04 - 15 ml Worcestershire sauce
05 - 1.25 teaspoons monosodium glutamate (MSG), optional
06 - 0.25 teaspoon onion salt
07 - 55 ml real bacon bits, optional

# Instructions:

01 - In a medium bowl, blend cream cheese, dried beef, and chopped green onions until evenly combined.
02 - Add Worcestershire sauce, onion salt, and if desired, monosodium glutamate. Mix thoroughly until smooth.
03 - Form the mixture into a ball and refrigerate for a minimum of 30 minutes to allow it to firm up.
04 - Prior to serving, roll the cheese ball in bacon bits and garnish with additional chopped green onions as preferred.

01 - Refrigerating the cheese ball improves texture and flavor melding.
