Chocolate Orange Cheesecake Dessert (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Crust

01 - 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
02 - 120 grams unsalted butter, melted

→ Filling

03 - 680 grams full-fat cream cheese, softened
04 - 200 grams granulated sugar
05 - 240 milliliters heavy whipping cream
06 - 225 grams dark chocolate (60–70% cocoa), melted
07 - Zest and juice of 2 large oranges

→ Garnish

08 - Orange slices
09 - Dark chocolate shavings

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Mix graham cracker crumbs with melted unsalted butter until evenly combined. Press this mixture firmly into the base of a springform pan to form an even layer. Bake for 10 minutes, then set aside to cool completely.
02 - In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until completely smooth and fluffy. Gradually add granulated sugar, blending until incorporated. Add the orange zest and juice, mixing thoroughly.
03 - Melt the dark chocolate and allow it to cool slightly. Whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Fold the melted chocolate followed by the whipped cream gently into the cream cheese mixture until fully integrated.
04 - Pour the filling over the cooled crust in the springform pan, smoothing the top. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the cheesecake to set thoroughly.
05 - Just before serving, top with fresh orange slices and dark chocolate shavings for an elegant finish.

# Notes:

01 - For optimal results, use high-quality chocolate and fresh oranges for both zest and juice.
02 - For a gluten-free option, substitute the graham cracker crumbs with gluten-free biscuit crumbs.
