Gently stir in ginger ale at the end, mixing everything together in the punch bowl so you've got little icy bits floating around. Add the reconstituted lemonade and orange juice after chopping up the sherbet and the frozen pineapple juice.

A couple hours before everyone arrives, pull your frozen pineapple juice out so it can soften a bit. Mix up the lemonade and orange juice with water (just like it says on the package) and stick them back in the fridge.

The night before you need it, toss the pineapple juice in the freezer so it goes nice and slushy.
