Cinnamon-Sugar Air Fryer Banana Chips (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 2 medium bananas, firm but ripe
02 - 1 tablespoon coconut oil or melted butter

→ Cinnamon Sugar Coating

03 - 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
04 - 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon

# Instructions:

01 - Peel bananas and slice into thin, uniform rounds approximately 3 mm thick using a sharp knife or mandoline.
02 - Combine granulated sugar and ground cinnamon in a small bowl until evenly blended.
03 - Brush both sides of each banana slice with coconut oil, then sprinkle both sides evenly with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
04 - Place coated banana slices in a single layer, ensuring no overlap, in the basket of the air fryer. Work in batches if necessary.
05 - Air fry at 150°C for 10–15 minutes, turning slices halfway through. Begin checking for doneness after 12 minutes; chips should be golden and starting to crisp.
06 - Transfer banana chips to a wire rack to cool. Serve once fully cooled or store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.

# Notes:

01 - Select bananas that are just ripe with firm texture for optimal slicing and crispness.
02 - Adjust the amount of sugar and cinnamon to suit your preference, or substitute with a sugar alternative.
03 - If chips are not crisp after initial cooking, extend air frying in 2-minute increments, monitoring closely to prevent burning.
