Cinnamon Sugar Baked Peaches (Print Version)

01 - 4 ripe peaches, halved and pitted
02 - 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
03 - 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
04 - 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
05 - 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
06 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
07 - 1 tablespoon lemon juice
08 - Pinch of salt

# Instructions:

01 - Set oven to 375°F (190°C) to preheat.
02 - Cut peaches in half and remove pits. Optionally, peel the peaches if preferred.
03 - Place peach halves cut side up in a baking dish.
04 - Combine granulated sugar, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon in a small bowl. Stir until well mixed.
05 - Drizzle melted butter and vanilla extract evenly over the peach halves.
06 - Sprinkle the prepared cinnamon sugar mixture over each peach half.
07 - Drip lemon juice over the peaches and finish with a pinch of salt.
08 - Loosely cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25–30 minutes or until peaches are tender and syrupy.
09 - To caramelize tops, remove foil for the final 5 minutes of baking.
10 - Remove from oven and let peaches rest for 10 minutes before serving warm.

01 - For a crunchy topping, add chopped pecans or walnuts before baking.
02 - Serve with vanilla ice cream or Greek yogurt for an indulgent finish.
03 - Best results are achieved with ripe, fragrant peaches.
