Classic Glazed Meatloaf (Printer-Friendly Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ For the Meatloaf

01 - 2 pounds 80%-90% ground beef (or ground turkey or 1 pound ground pork and 1 pound ground beef)
02 - ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
03 - ⅓ cup beef broth (or milk)
04 - 2 large eggs, whisked
05 - 2-3 Tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley
06 - 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
07 - 2 Tablespoons ketchup
08 - 1 ¼ teaspoons Kosher salt
09 - ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
10 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
11 - 1 teaspoon onion powder

→ For the Glaze

12 - ⅔ cup ketchup or BBQ sauce (you could mix half and half)
13 - 2-3 Tablespoons light brown sugar

# Let's Cook!:

01 - Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet or 9x5-inch loaf pan with foil. Lightly spray with non-stick spray and set aside
02 - In a large bowl, mix the beef, breadcrumbs, broth, eggs, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until just combined. Don't overmix or the meat won't be as tender
03 - Press into the loaf pan or form the mixture into a loaf shape on the pan
04 - In a small bowl, mix together the ketchup and/or BBQ sauce and brown sugar. Pour over the top of the meatloaf. Add pepper on top, if desired
05 - Bake 45 minutes, or until a meat thermometer reaches 160°F. Let rest 10 minutes before cutting into slices

01 - You can use any combination of ground meats
02 - Don't overmix or the meatloaf won't be as tender
03 - Let rest 10 minutes before slicing
