Cranberry Brie Crostini (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Bread

01 - 1 medium baguette, sliced into ½-inch pieces

→ Cheese

02 - 8 oz wheel Brie cheese

→ Toppings

03 - 1 cup cranberry sauce
04 - 2 tbsp honey
05 - Fresh thyme sprigs for garnish
06 - Salt to taste
07 - Black pepper to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the baguette into ½-inch thick pieces and arrange them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
02 - Bake the baguette slices for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through the baking time.
03 - Slice the Brie into thin wedges and place a generous piece on each toasted baguette slice.
04 - Return the topped slices to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes until the Brie begins to soften but remains intact.
05 - Remove from the oven and immediately spoon cranberry sauce onto each crostini. Drizzle with honey, then season with salt, pepper, and fresh thyme sprigs.
06 - Serve the crostini warm to maximize flavor and texture.

# Notes:

01 - Brush the baguette slices with olive oil before toasting to enhance crispiness.
02 - Substitute Brie with Camembert for a more pronounced flavor or use vegan cheese for a dairy-free alternative.
03 - Using whole grain baguette adds fiber and texture.
