Doritos Crusted Chicken Tenders (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 kg boneless, skinless chicken breasts
02 - 255 g Cool Ranch Doritos

→ Breading & Coating

03 - 95 g all-purpose flour
04 - 4 large eggs, beaten
05 - 180 ml whole milk

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 200°C. Prepare two baking trays by lining them with foil or lightly brushing with olive oil. Position a wire rack on the tray if available.
02 - Cut chicken breasts into strips approximately 8–10 cm long and 5–7 cm wide. Place the pieces in a bowl and set aside.
03 - Crush Doritos in the closed bag until they resemble coarse breadcrumbs.
04 - Arrange separate shallow bowls containing milk, flour, beaten eggs, and crushed Doritos in sequence for dredging.
05 - Working with one piece at a time, dip each chicken strip into milk, then flour, followed by eggs, and finally coat thoroughly with crushed Doritos. Place coated strips onto prepared baking tray.
06 - Bake in preheated oven for 15–20 minutes, turning the strips once halfway through. Check that the internal temperature has reached 74°C and the chicken is fully cooked.
07 - Serve immediately with desired dipping sauces such as barbecue or ranch. Garnish with sliced green onions if preferred.

# Notes:

01 - To retain maximum crispiness, bake on a wire rack above the tray for optimal air circulation.
02 - Cool leftovers thoroughly before refrigerating in an airtight container for up to four days or freeze for up to three months.
03 - For reheating, use an air fryer or oven at 175°C until hot and crispy.
