Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok. If using a wok, allow the oil to smoke; if using a normal pan, skip smoking the oil.

Pour in beaten eggs and quickly stir-fry them until they take shape but are still moist.

Add the rice to the pan and break apart clumps if the rice is stuck together.

Push everything to the side of the pan. Add the remaining oil to the empty space and mix in the green onions.

Add the soy sauce and sesame oil along the edges of the pan. Toss everything until the rice grains are evenly colored brown.

Remove the pan from heat. Serve hot and enjoy while still warm.
