Brown Sugar Pineapple Ham (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 lbs cooked ham, diced
02 - 1 can (20 oz) pineapple chunks in juice, drained (reserve juice)

→ Glaze

03 - 3/4 cup brown sugar
04 - 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
05 - 2 tbsp soy sauce
06 - 1/4 cup reserved pineapple juice
07 - 1/4 tsp ground cloves (optional)
08 - Salt and pepper to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F. Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
02 - Whisk together brown sugar, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, reserved pineapple juice, and ground cloves if using, until smooth.
03 - Add diced ham and pineapple chunks into the prepared baking dish.
04 - Pour the glaze over the ham and pineapple mixture, tossing gently to coat evenly.
05 - Bake uncovered for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the glaze is caramelized and bubbling.
06 - Serve hot over rice or alongside roasted vegetables.

# Notes:

01 - For a deeper flavor, marinate the diced ham in the glaze for 1 hour before baking.
