Garlic Butter Steak Bites (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Steak Bites

01 - 1.5 pounds sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes (or ribeye, strip steak, or other well-marbled cut)
02 - Salt, to taste
03 - Black pepper, to taste

→ For Searing and Sauce

04 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
05 - 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
06 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
07 - 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

# Instructions:

01 - Remove the steak from refrigeration and allow it to reach room temperature for 30 minutes before preparation.
02 - Slice steak into 1-inch cubes and generously season with salt and black pepper.
03 - Heat a large skillet with olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat. Once hot, arrange half the steak cubes in a single layer without crowding. Cook undisturbed for 2 minutes, then flip and sear for an additional 2 minutes for medium doneness. Transfer the cooked steak to a plate and repeat with the remaining batch.
04 - Reduce heat to medium-low. Melt the remaining 3 tablespoons butter in the skillet, then add the minced garlic. Stir constantly for 1–2 minutes until the garlic is aromatic and lightly golden, avoiding browning.
05 - Return steak cubes and accumulated juices to the skillet. Toss to coat evenly in the garlic butter sauce and heat briefly. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - Avoid overcooking steak bites to preserve tenderness; undisturbed searing ensures optimal caramelization.
02 - A cast iron skillet retains high heat and delivers superior crust development.
03 - Serving size varies: suitable for 4–6 as an appetizer or 2–4 as a main depending on accompaniment.
