08 - ½ cup freeze-dried strawberries, finely crushed (or strawberry powder)

→ For the Cheesecake Filling

09 - 4 oz cream cheese, softened
10 - 2 tbsp powdered sugar
11 - ½ tsp vanilla extract

# Let's Cook!:

01 - Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Freeze for 10-15 minutes to firm up.
02 - In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
03 - Beat softened butter and sugar until fluffy (2 minutes). Add egg and vanilla extract, mixing until combined. Gradually add dry ingredients, then fold in crushed freeze-dried strawberries.
04 - Refrigerate dough for at least 30 minutes until firm enough to handle.
05 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Take 1½ tablespoons dough, flatten, add ½ teaspoon chilled filling, wrap dough around filling, and roll into a ball.
06 - Bake 12-15 minutes until edges are set and slightly golden. Cool on baking sheet briefly, then transfer to wire rack.
