Chop the chocolate into small pieces and melt in the microwave on half power, stirring every 20 seconds, until melted.

Stir in sugar, cocoa powder, and salt. Slowly stir in ½ cup milk, stirring until smooth.

Add mixture to blender with remaining 1 cup milk and 1 cup of ice. Blend well until smooth. Add more ice if you want it thicker.
