A luscious dish featuring gooey pecans atop a soft, golden cake base, warm and rich in flavor.

# Ingredients:

Dry Ingredients

01 - 1 cup all-purpose flour
02 - 1 cup granulated sugar
03 - 1 teaspoon baking powder
04 - 1/2 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients

05 - 1/2 cup milk
06 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
07 - 3/4 cup corn syrup
08 - 2 large eggs
09 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Sugars and Nuts

10 - 1 cup brown sugar
11 - 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans

# Instructions:

01 - In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk and melted butter until a smooth batter forms. Spread evenly into a greased baking dish.
02 - In a separate bowl, gently mix brown sugar, chopped pecans, corn syrup, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth but not overmixed.
03 - Pour the pecan mixture carefully over the batter without stirring. Bake in a preheated oven until the top is dark golden and bubbling, and the center remains slightly soft.
04 - Allow the dish to rest for at least 15 minutes to set. Serve warm, optionally with ice cream.

# Notes:

01 - The cobbler will firm up as it cools; avoid stirring after pouring the pecan mixture to maintain texture.
