Hamburger Green Bean Casserole (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Components

01 - 1 pound ground beef
02 - 1 can (425 g) green beans, drained
03 - 1 can (298 g) cream of mushroom soup
04 - 120 ml milk
05 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
06 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
07 - Salt, to taste
08 - Black pepper, to taste

→ Toppings

09 - 115 g shredded cheddar cheese
10 - 85 g French fried onions

# Instructions:

01 - Set the oven to 175°C (350°F) and allow it to fully preheat.
02 - In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until completely browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.
03 - In a large mixing bowl, mix the cooked ground beef with drained green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until thoroughly incorporated.
04 - Lightly grease a 23×33 cm (9×13-inch) baking dish. Evenly spread the beef and green bean mixture into the dish and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
05 - Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the casserole is fully heated through.
06 - Remove from the oven and sprinkle French fried onions evenly over the top. Return to the oven for 5–10 minutes, until the onions are crispy and golden.
07 - Let the casserole rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

# Notes:

01 - Draining excess fat from the beef prevents the casserole from becoming greasy.
02 - For best flavor, allow the casserole to rest before serving so the filling can set.
