Homemade Milky Way Bars (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Nougat Layer

01 - 2 cups milk chocolate chips
02 - 1 cup marshmallow fluff
03 - 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk

→ Caramel Layer

04 - 1 bag (11 oz) soft caramels
05 - 2 tablespoons heavy cream

→ Chocolate Coating

06 - 3 cups milk chocolate chips
07 - 2 tablespoons vegetable oil or coconut oil

# Instructions:

01 - Line an 8x8-inch square pan with parchment paper.
02 - Melt 2 cups milk chocolate chips in the microwave, stirring until smooth. Stir in marshmallow fluff and sweetened condensed milk until well combined.
03 - Spread the nougat mixture evenly in the prepared pan and freeze for 15 to 20 minutes.
04 - Unwrap caramels and place in a microwave-safe bowl. Add heavy cream and microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring until melted and smooth.
05 - Pour the caramel over the chilled nougat layer, tilting the pan to spread evenly. Freeze for 30 to 40 minutes.
06 - Lift the slab out of the pan using parchment paper and cut into rectangles or fun-size bars while still frozen.
07 - Melt 3 cups milk chocolate chips with vegetable or coconut oil until smooth.
08 - Dip each nougat-caramel bar into the melted chocolate using a fork, removing excess coating.
09 - Place coated bars on parchment paper and refrigerate for 30 minutes until the chocolate is set.

# Notes:

01 - Chill nougat and caramel layers well before slicing for cleaner edges. Melt chocolate and caramel in short intervals to prevent overheating. Adding oil to melted chocolate enhances gloss.
