Honey Butter Chicken (Print Version)

Tender and crispy chicken cooked in a rich honey butter sauce, ready in half an hour.

# Ingredients:

Chicken

01 - 28 oz boneless chicken thighs or chicken tenders

Coating

02 - ⅔ cup all-purpose flour
03 - 1 teaspoon kosher salt
04 - ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
05 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Cooking Oil

06 - 3 tablespoons olive oil, canola oil, or vegetable oil

Honey Butter Sauce

07 - ⅓ cup honey
08 - 3.5 oz unsalted butter
09 - 2 garlic cloves, minced
10 - 2 tablespoons light soy sauce

# Instructions:

01 - In a large bowl or flat plate, combine the flour, kosher salt, black pepper, and garlic powder thoroughly.
02 - Add chicken pieces to the flour mixture, ensuring each piece is evenly coated.
03 - Heat oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Place chicken pieces in the pan and cook undisturbed for about 5 minutes on one side until a golden crust forms. Flip and cook the other side until equally crispy and cooked through.
04 - Remove the cooked chicken from the pan and set on a plate while preparing the sauce.
05 - Reduce heat to medium. In the same pan, melt the butter, then add honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Stir continuously and cook for approximately 2 minutes until the sauce becomes bubbly and well combined.
06 - Return the chicken to the pan and toss gently to coat with the honey butter sauce. Cook for an additional minute to allow the sauce to adhere to the chicken's crust. Serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - For optimal moisture and tenderness, use chicken thighs. Avoid flipping the chicken too soon to let the crust properly develop.
02 - Ensure chicken pieces are boneless and cleaned to facilitate even cooking and ease of eating.
