01 - 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
02 - 2 tablespoons blackening seasoning
03 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
04 - 4 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
05 - 1 cup Caesar dressing
06 - 1 cup croutons
07 - 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
08 - 2-3 tablespoons hot honey (to taste)
09 - Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
10 - Salt and pepper, to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Rinse and pat dry the shrimp. In a bowl, toss with blackening seasoning until evenly coated.
02 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
03 - Add seasoned shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until opaque and slightly charred. Remove from heat and set aside.
04 - In a large salad bowl, combine chopped romaine lettuce and croutons.
05 - Drizzle Caesar dressing over the lettuce and toss to coat evenly.
06 - Transfer dressed lettuce to serving plates or bowls.
07 - Arrange the blackened shrimp on top of the salad.
08 - Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, drizzle with hot honey to taste, and garnish with chopped parsley if desired.

01 - For homemade hot honey, combine 1/2 cup honey with 1-2 teaspoons red pepper flakes and heat gently.
02 - You can make your own blackening seasoning with paprika, cayenne, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper.
03 - For extra flavor, grill the shrimp instead of pan-searing.
