Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles. Cut each triangle in half lengthwise, then cut horizontally to yield four small pieces from each triangle, totaling 32 pieces. Set aside.

In a bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Incorporate crumbled bacon, drained green chilies, shredded cheddar, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until evenly combined.

Spread a thin layer of the cheese mixture onto each crescent piece. Place one Lit’l Smokie on the widest edge and roll tightly to enclose.

Arrange assembled pieces seam side down on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
