→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1/2 pound lean ground beef
02 - 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, divided
03 - 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
04 - 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
05 - 1 jar pizza sauce, divided
06 - 1 tube (13.8 ounces) refrigerated pizza dough
07 - 4 slices provolone cheese
08 - 2 ounces thin-sliced pepperoni (about 1/3 cup)
09 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
10 - 2 tablespoons butter, melted
11 - 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 400°F (205°C).
02 - In a large non-stick skillet, cook the ground beef with 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, garlic powder, and kosher salt over medium heat until beef is browned, stirring frequently. Drain any excess fat.
03 - Allow the cooked beef to cool slightly, then mix in 1/3 cup pizza sauce.
04 - Unroll the refrigerated pizza dough onto a baking sheet with shallow sides.
05 - Spread 1/2 cup pizza sauce down the center of the dough. Layer the provolone cheese slices, pepperoni, cooked beef mixture, and shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
06 - With a sharp knife, cut the dough into 1-inch strips on both sides, toward the filling. Alternate folding the strips over the filling, overlapping to enclose.
07 - Brush the surface of the dough with melted butter and sprinkle with grated Parmesan and the remaining 1/8 teaspoon dried oregano.
08 - Place in the preheated oven and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the dough is golden and baked through.
09 - Warm the remaining pizza sauce and serve alongside the pizza bread as a dipping sauce.

# Notes:

01 - Best enjoyed warm with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
