01 -
Preheat the oven to 400°F (205°C).
02 -
In a large non-stick skillet, cook the ground beef with 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, garlic powder, and kosher salt over medium heat until beef is browned, stirring frequently. Drain any excess fat.
03 -
Allow the cooked beef to cool slightly, then mix in 1/3 cup pizza sauce.
04 -
Unroll the refrigerated pizza dough onto a baking sheet with shallow sides.
05 -
Spread 1/2 cup pizza sauce down the center of the dough. Layer the provolone cheese slices, pepperoni, cooked beef mixture, and shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
06 -
With a sharp knife, cut the dough into 1-inch strips on both sides, toward the filling. Alternate folding the strips over the filling, overlapping to enclose.
07 -
Brush the surface of the dough with melted butter and sprinkle with grated Parmesan and the remaining 1/8 teaspoon dried oregano.
08 -
Place in the preheated oven and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the dough is golden and baked through.
09 -
Warm the remaining pizza sauce and serve alongside the pizza bread as a dipping sauce.
