01 - 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
02 - 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
03 - 1 cup sour cream
04 - 1/2 cup mayonnaise
05 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
06 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
07 - 5 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
08 - 1 teaspoon salt
09 - 1/8 teaspoon pepper

11 - 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, blend cooked chicken, condensed cream of chicken soup, sour cream, mayonnaise, shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, and 5 slices of crumbled bacon. Season the mixture with salt and pepper, stirring until evenly combined.
03 - Spread the prepared chicken mixture evenly into the greased 9x13-inch dish.
04 - In a separate bowl, mix crushed Ritz crackers with melted butter until fully coated.
05 - Sprinkle the buttered cracker mixture evenly over the surface of the casserole.
06 - Place uncovered in the preheated oven and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until bubbly and golden on top.
07 - For additional garnish, bake extra bacon strips at 375°F for 20 minutes or until crisp and golden. Cool, then crumble.
08 - Remove the baked casserole from the oven. Sprinkle with extra crumbled bacon and chopped chives before serving.

01 - For best results, use freshly cooked chicken breast or thigh. Rotisserie chicken offers a convenient shortcut.
02 - Allow the casserole to rest for five minutes after baking for easier serving.
