Orange Glazed Salmon Dinner (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
02 - 450 grams salmon fillets
03 - Salt, to taste
04 - Ground black pepper, to taste

→ Glaze

05 - 120 millilitres freshly squeezed orange juice
06 - 2 tablespoons honey
07 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce
08 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
09 - 1 teaspoon cornstarch, whisked with 1 teaspoon water (optional, for thickening)

# Instructions:

01 - Heat butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season salmon fillets with salt and black pepper. Place fillets in the skillet, skin side up, and cook for 3 to 5 minutes until golden brown. Flip the fillets and cook for an additional 3 to 4 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 63°C at the thickest part.
02 - Remove salmon from the skillet and set aside, covering with foil to keep warm. Reduce heat to medium. In a bowl, whisk together orange juice, honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and cornstarch slurry if using.
03 - Pour the orange glaze mixture into the same skillet. Allow it to simmer, stirring continuously, until the glaze is heated through and thickens, about 30 to 60 seconds if cornstarch is used.
04 - Return the salmon to the skillet and spoon the glaze over the fillets to coat evenly. Serve immediately, garnished with orange slices if desired.

# Notes:

01 - For a thicker glaze, include the cornstarch slurry; omit for a lighter sauce.
02 - Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container and consume within 2 to 3 days.
