04 - 1 medium onion, finely chopped
05 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
06 - 1 teaspoon salt
07 - 1 teaspoon black pepper
08 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
09 - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
10 - 1 large egg, optional for binding

→ Toppings (Optional)

11 - 1 cup shredded cheese, for sprinkling

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
02 - Slice the cabbage into thick rounds of approximately 1.25 cm and brush both sides with olive oil.
03 - In a mixing bowl, combine ground meat or substitute with finely chopped onion, minced garlic, smoked paprika, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Incorporate the egg if using to bind the mixture.
04 - Form the protein mixture into patties sized to match the cabbage slices and place each patty onto a cabbage round.
05 - Arrange the assembled patties on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until cooked through.
06 - Optionally, sprinkle shredded cheese atop each patty and broil for 3 to 5 minutes until melted and slightly browned.
07 - Remove from oven and serve immediately. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

# Notes:

01 - Using egg as a binder enhances patty cohesion but can be omitted for egg-free versions.
