# Ingredients:

01 - 4 medium zucchinis, sliced into 1/4-inch rounds

02 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
03 - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

→ Breadcrumbs

04 - 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

→ Oils and Seasonings

05 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
06 - 1 clove garlic, minced
07 - 1 teaspoon dried oregano
08 - Salt, to taste
09 - Black pepper, to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a medium baking dish or line with parchment paper for easier cleanup.
02 - Wash zucchinis thoroughly and slice into 1/4-inch thick rounds. Place the slices in a large mixing bowl.
03 - Drizzle sliced zucchini with olive oil. Add minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat zucchini evenly with oil and seasonings.
04 - In a separate bowl, combine shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, and breadcrumbs. Stir until well blended.
05 - Arrange half the seasoned zucchini slices in the prepared dish, slightly overlapping each piece. Evenly distribute half of the cheese and breadcrumb mixture over the zucchini.
06 - Repeat with the remaining zucchini slices to form a second layer. Top with the remaining cheese and breadcrumb mixture, ensuring an even layer for a golden crust.
07 - Transfer the dish to the center rack of the oven. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until zucchini is fork-tender and the cheese topping is melted, golden, and bubbling.
08 - Remove from the oven and allow to cool for several minutes. Garnish with fresh basil if desired and serve while warm.
