Pizza Burger Pepperoni Mozzarella (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound ground beef (80% lean / 20% fat)
02 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
03 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
04 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
05 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
06 - 4 hamburger buns, split and toasted
07 - 1/2 cup pizza sauce
08 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
09 - 16-24 slices pepperoni

# Instructions:

01 - In a large bowl, mix ground beef with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until thoroughly combined. Form into 4 equal patties and allow to rest.
02 - Preheat grill or grill pan and broiler to medium-high. Arrange split hamburger buns, cut side up, on a baking sheet and toast under the broiler until golden brown. Remove top halves and set aside.
03 - Grill burger patties for 4–5 minutes per side until cooked through.
04 - While burgers cook, warm pizza sauce in a small saucepan over low heat. Spread half the sauce over bottom halves of buns; top with half the mozzarella and pepperoni slices. Broil 2–3 minutes until cheese is melted.
05 - Place grilled patties on top of the prepared buns. Spoon remaining pizza sauce over each, sprinkle with remaining mozzarella, and arrange pepperoni slices. Broil until cheese melts and pepperoni slightly crisps.
06 - Cover with the top bun halves and serve hot.

# Notes:

01 - Toast the buns for a crisp texture and added flavor.
