# Ingredients:

→ Garlic Butter

01 - 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
02 - 4 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
03 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
04 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
05 - 1/4 teaspoon salt

→ Sandwich Assembly

06 - 8 thick slices sturdy bread such as sourdough or Italian
07 - 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
08 - 1/2 cup pizza sauce or marinara sauce
09 - 24 thin slices pepperoni

# Instructions:

01 - Combine softened unsalted butter, grated parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and salt in a small mixing bowl until evenly blended.
02 - Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce or marinara sauce on 4 slices of bread. Evenly top each with shredded mozzarella cheese and 6 slices of pepperoni. Place the remaining bread slices on top to form sandwiches.
03 - Generously spread the prepared garlic butter over the outer sides of each assembled sandwich.
04 - Heat a skillet over medium heat. Grill the sandwiches for 3–4 minutes per side until the bread is golden and crisp and the cheese is melted.
05 - Slice grilled sandwiches in half and serve immediately with extra warm marinara sauce for dipping, if desired.

# Notes:

01 - Select sturdy bread such as sourdough or Italian to provide a crisp, non-soggy structure.
02 - For a dairy-free version, replace mozzarella cheese with a suitable dairy-free alternative.
03 - Enhance flavor with optional toppings like mushrooms, olives, or bell peppers.
04 - Add a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes or sliced jalapeños for a spicy kick.
