Salted Caramel Banana Cobbler (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Filling

01 - 4 large ripe bananas, sliced
02 - 1/4 cup brown sugar
03 - 1 tsp vanilla extract
04 - 1/4 tsp salt

→ Topping

05 - 1 cup all-purpose flour
06 - 1/4 cup brown sugar
07 - 2 tbsp granulated sugar
08 - 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
09 - 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
10 - 1/4 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
11 - 1/4 cup milk

→ Garnish

12 - 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
13 - Flaky sea salt, for garnish
14 - Vanilla ice cream (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease an 8x8-inch baking dish.
02 - In a bowl, toss sliced bananas with 1/4 cup brown sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Spread mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
03 - In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, remaining 1/4 cup brown sugar, granulated sugar, baking powder, and cinnamon. Cut in cold cubed butter until the mixture becomes crumbly. Stir in milk until just combined.
04 - Dollop the biscuit topping over the banana mixture, allowing some banana to remain visible as the topping will spread during baking.
05 - Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until the topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbly. Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes.
06 - Drizzle with salted caramel sauce, sprinkle with flaky sea salt, and serve warm. Optionally accompany with vanilla ice cream.

# Notes:

01 - Using cold butter in the topping ensures a flaky, biscuit-like texture.
