# Ingredients:

08 - Hot honey, for drizzling

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C) with a pizza stone or baking sheet inside to ensure a crispy crust.
02 - On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to desired thickness and transfer it onto a parchment-lined pizza peel or baking sheet.
03 - Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, then sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
04 - Distribute the crumbled spicy Italian sausage evenly, then spoon dollops of ricotta cheese across the surface. Sprinkle red pepper flakes if using.
05 - Drizzle olive oil over the assembled pizza, then transfer it with the parchment paper onto the preheated stone or baking sheet. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbling.
06 - Remove from the oven, drizzle hot honey to taste, garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired. Slice and serve immediately.
