Toast the sesame seeds in a pan over medium heat, stirring continuously (as they can burn quickly); Once they turn golden, transfer them to a bowl.

Whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, water, and cornstarch (if adding) until blended in a bowl and set aside.

Heat water in a pot and bring the water to boiling hot. Add ramen noodles and cook as per the package instructions; Once done, drain them using a colander and set them aside.

Heat sesame oil in a pan; Set the flame to low and add white parts of the green onion and minced garlic; Saute for a minute.

Add chili flakes and stir to mix.

Add the prepared sauce and simmer until the sauce slightly thickens.

Add the cooked ramen noodles and stir gently to coat well in the sauce.

Add scallion greens and toasted sesame seeds; Give it a quick mix and serve hot. ENJOY!
