Sheet Pan Sausage Sweet Potatoes (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 14 ounces chicken or turkey sausage, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
02 - 2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch cubes
03 - 2 cups broccoli, cut into 1/2-inch florets

→ Sauce

04 - 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
05 - 4 medium cloves garlic, minced
06 - 1/4 cup honey
07 - 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
08 - 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
09 - Salt, to taste
10 - Black pepper, to taste

→ Finishing

11 - 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, minced

# Instructions:

01 - Set oven to 400°F (200°C) and allow to fully preheat.
02 - Spread sliced sausage, sweet potato cubes, and broccoli florets in a single even layer on a sheet pan.
03 - In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
04 - Add honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
05 - Pour the honey garlic sauce over sausage, sweet potatoes, and broccoli. Toss to ensure even coverage.
06 - Place sheet pan in oven and roast for 25–30 minutes, stirring halfway, until sweet potatoes are tender and sausage is thoroughly cooked.
07 - Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with minced fresh parsley before serving.

01 - For added heat, incorporate red pepper flakes into the sauce.
